LeadSense Copilot ("Extension", "we", "our") is a Chrome browser extension that provides AI-powered sales assistance for WhatsApp Web. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Extension.

- Account Information: Email address and authentication credentials when you create a LeadSense account.
- Conversation Data: WhatsApp Web message content that you choose to analyze through the Extension. This includes text messages exchanged between you and your contacts.

- Usage Data: Extension usage patterns, feature interactions, and error logs to improve our service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- AI Analysis: Conversation data is sent to our secure servers where it is processed by AI models to generate sales insights, lead scoring, and recommendations.
- Dashboard & Reporting: Analysis results are stored to provide historical reporting and team analytics through the LeadSense Dashboard.
- Service Improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us improve the Extension's features and performance.
- Account Management: Email is used for authentication, service communications, and account recovery.
4. Data Storage & Security
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
- Conversation data and analysis results are stored in secured databases with access controls.
- Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser's secure storage (chrome.storage).
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following cases:
- AI Processing: Conversation data is sent to third-party AI providers (OpenAI) for analysis. This data is processed under their enterprise data processing agreements and is not used to train their models.
- Team Features: If you are part of a team account, your manager may have access to aggregated analytics and lead data as part of the team management features.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Conversation data and analysis results are retained for as long as needed to provide the service.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
- Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Permissions Explained
The Extension requests the following browser permissions:
- storage: To save your authentication token and preferences locally.
- activeTab: To interact with the current WhatsApp Web tab.
- scripting: To inject the copilot interface into WhatsApp Web.
- tabs: To detect when WhatsApp Web is open.
- sidePanel: To display the analysis panel alongside WhatsApp Web.
- alarms: To schedule periodic data synchronization.
9. Children's Privacy
LeadSense Copilot is designed for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for immediate removal.
10. Changes to This Policy
